FOOTBALL CAMP – SANDOMIERZ

Football camp for children took place in Sandomierz on August 6-9. For four days, approximately 50 children took part in organized drills, games and more, led by coaches and helpers from Northern Ireland, the United States, and Poland. The children enthusiastically jumped into the fun games and exercises, and listened to inspiring stories from the lives of the coaches and even the life of Jesus. There was always small group time with the coaches to discuss more serious topics, and at the end of the day, competitions took place between the teams. The children grew in their love for sports, and everyone gave their all. The last day brought forth the strongest emotions, mostly because of the “World Cup” championship tournament, which included teams representing the entire world, just like the real World Cup competition. Of course after the finals, there were medals and special awards to give out as we celebrated our time together. We are so glad that we had the opportunity to spend this wonderful time in Sandomierz.
